4th weekend of DEC

Today I had darker eye shadow than last few week.

Outer corner of my eye usually I apply darkest shape of my eye shadow,

I found out it help me to balance my shape of my eye.

 

Optional... if you want to look more dress-up look, you could bring up the same shape of the eye shadow from your outer corner up, and apply it on with lighter pressure.

For lip, you could have the red red lip, or like my look with light rose pink.

Finally, I caught up my weekend makeup...

How many color of eye shadow you think I applied it on today?

I believe you can see different level of colors on my eye,

but I only applied 1 color with 2 brushes.

 

When you apply eye shadow, you could apply with different level of pressure, and

it helps to create different level of colors.

 

Have a fresh & different look everyday, it might not cost that much money and time.



Magic of different brushes

Do you remember I had mentioned we need to have at least 3 different shapes of eye shadows?

BUT

This looks was created with 1 eye shadow color, but with 3 different kind of makeup brushes.

Different length and volume of the hair on the brushes, it helps to create different

shapes of color.



3rd Week of Augest- Pink & Brown

Pink & Brown is BFF, they always work out well.

Pink is not a easy color to apply, but if you add some Brown, it will trun out awesome.

 

You could also add Brown eyeliner instead of Black.

2nd weekend of Aug

I believe you always see the magazine cover about some HOT STARS without makeup.

But you will never realize they will look like, right ?

Because HOT STARS in our mind are always look so good.

This look is the "makeup" look like DO NOT have makeup on.

 

For this look, you need to pay more attention on your dark circle and foundation.

Even it out your facial color, it can help you look fresh and younger.

 



Valentine's Day Makeup Idea

Do you know what are you going to wear on Valentine's Day yet?

When I'm thinking the color of Valentine's Day, it is always RED and PINK.

I will always do the Natural Look on my eyes, but on Valentine’s Day I will apply a bit heavier natural color (like Brown, Grey) on my eye shadow and keep my lip color natural.

It's depend on the color of your clothes, you could use brighter and richer color on your lip as well.

How far in advance did you book hair and makeup?

Lately, I had one Bride-to-be booked me 2 days before her wedding and the other one booked me 9 days before her wedding.
When will be a good time to Book your Hair and Makeup for your BIG DAY?
If you knew the hair stylist and makeup artist can achieve what you want, then a month or 2 will be a good advance.

If you need to shop around for your wedding, I will suggest all the Bride-to-be book your Hair Stylist and Makeup Artist at least 6 months advance.

Please make sure you will have at leat one trial for your hair and makeup (Trial- Strongly Recommended).  Just in case, you are not happy with your hair stylist and makeup artist, then you will still have time to shop around before your wedding day.

I usually will give some tips to my clients what they should or should not do before their Speical Day.

I found below website aslo has the same suggestions as me as well.

1. Don't drink wine or eat dark- colored foods like berries.

2. Don't tan

    My reason- it will helps to bring your natual skin beauty out and it can aovie a chance to damage your skin beofre your wedding.

3. Don't get your first-ever bikini wax just before your wedding.

4. Don't change your birth control, skin-care program, washing deterent, etc., less than 6 weeks before the wedding.

5. Don't get a facial, get your brow waxed, or cut or color your hair 2 days or less before your wedding.

    My reason- I'sm totally agreed those reasons, which showed on below website.

    I also will suggest Bride-to-be to have their Basic Facial once a month for 12 months before their wedding.

   Basic Facial can helps you have a good blood circulation, and it can helps you ever our your face color. Basic Facial usually has a facial mask and it helps moister your skin.

6. Don't ingest excess sodium the week before the wedding.

7. Don't flat- iron your hair before a trail or your big day.

8. Don't sit around in your bra the morning of your wedding.

9. Don't Skimp on water!

10. Don't forget your beauty emergency kit.

      Pls review the list on the beauty emergency kit and you might want to add few more things.

11. Don't forget to touch up!

     My reason - Wedding season usually during the summer time, your makeup might need a little bit more maintenance.  If you are able to hire your makeup artist to stay after your ceremoney to do some touch up before you go to take your weeding pictures, it will be great.  If not, pls make sure you will have a touch-up bag with you, so your can do some touch-up before your wedding pictures and reception.

     Clean Lip Gloss, Your skin tone powder, and Blush must in your touch up bag.

12. Don't cry off all your beautiful makeup!

      My reason- Yep, tears will happen.

      Pls maker sure one of your bride-mate will have tissue ready for you.

13. Don't forget your makeup artist or hair stylist!

14. Don't wear pull over tanks/ T-shirt for your makeup and your hair appointment.

15. Don't have your makeup appointment before your hair appointment.

Fall is here now and we need to protect our skin.

I ususally will have a mask on twice a week, and I found out it helps alot!

How many colors/ tones for eye shadow you will apply

I usually will apply 3 colors/tones for eye shadow to create the 3D shape for my eyes.

For example: Ver Light Pink, Light Brown and Middle Brown.
